The WA State Trauma Symposium is being held again this year at Royal Perth Hospital with the support of ACAP. Dr Tony Smith, the Medical Director for St John Ambulance New Zealand, will be the keynote speaker.

When: 6th November
Registration open now, earlybird closes on 30th September.

Topics include Prehospital, Military and Rural Trauma Management, the aftermath of Disaster Management and Issues pertaining to Trauma Training

ACAP WA Committee Meeting (March)

The March meeting of the ACAP WA committee, held at Joondalup saw various discussions of recent activities. In particular, the required activities for the National ACAP Restructure were discussed and various subcommittees formed to ensure a smooth transition. In addition, the 2010 ACAP Conference organisation activities were discussed.

The next key activities for ACAP WA are a PHTLS course to be held 8-9 May at Belmont and 25-26 September at ECU. Planning for future activities will commence soon.
