ACAP Western
Australia will hold its Annual General Meeting on 10
September 2008 commencing at 1900 hours. The Meeting
will be held at City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street,
West Perth. Street parking is available or you may
wish to catch the train to the City West Station which
stops 200m from the venue.
Have your say..
The Annual General Meeting is our most important
meeting of the year. Not only do we elect those who
will manage the branch in the future, but we deal with
important financial and strategic matters. In past
years we have had poor turnout to our Annual General
Meetings. We all need to make the effort to come
along and have input into the management of 'our' Branch.
ACAP WA realises that not all members aspire to be on the
Committee, or wish to take an active role in the running
of ACAP WA. We do however, hope that all members
attend this meeting and help us decide on ACAP WA's
future.

ACAP WA would be pleased to hear from you.
Nominations are taken prior to the meeting or on the
night. You need two ACAP members to move and second
your nomination and from there it is up to the membership
to decide. There are many positions available on the
committee, from management positions, national
representation, or coordinating our professional
development opportunities and scholarships or being a
general committee member. If you are unsure as to
the commitment required for each position, feel free to
contact the incumbent and discuss the requirements.
Positions up for election in 2008 are listed on the AGM
Agenda.
Meet the
Committee..
At the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting, the
newly elected committee will hold a general meeting.
At the conclusion of the meeting we will break for wine,
cheese and other light refreshments. This is a good
chance to network with other ACAP members in a relaxed and
friendly environment.
