Committee

The ACAP WA Committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting and are the best point of contact for current and prospective members.  Committee Members are elected at an Annual General Meeting and the terms of office are set out in our Certified Rules.  If committee vacancies occur during the year, they are filled on a temporary basis until the next annual general meeting.

Joe Cuthbertson MACAP

The Chairperson is the head of ACAP WA and is responsible for the day to day management of the Branch.

The Vice Chairperson assists the Chairperson in the running of the Branch.  Rick also edits FastTrack.

Wade Bloffwitch MACAP

The Secretary is responsible for branch correspondence, minutes and coordinates meetings.

Wade is a Volunteer Ambulance Officer with the Mandurah Sub-Centre and works in pre-hospital care in the mining industry.  Email Wade.

 

Dr Richard Brightwell AACAP

The Director is ACAP WA's representation on strategic matters at National level.

Richard is Coordinator in Studies in Paramedical Science at Edith Cowan University.  Email Richard.

Blaise Rego MACAP

The Treasurer is responsible for the sound financial management of the Branch.

Blaise is an Ambulance Paramedic and Acting Station Manager at Kewdale Depot. Email Blaise.

The Registrar is responsible for maintenance of our membership database and the recruitment of members.

The Professional Development Coordinator is responsible for ACAP WA's highly successful professional development seminars.

This Scholarship Coordinator is responsible for the management of ACAP WA Scholarships.

This new position is responsible for audio/visual recording of our Professional Development Seminars and media liaison.

The Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for sourcing and selling merchandise that may be of interest to Members.

Jean is an Ambulance Paramedic stationed at Secret Harbour.  Email Jean.

ACAP Meeting Schedule


ACAP Western Australia aims to meet monthly to meet the ever growing demands of our membership.  The meeting schedule for 2008 is:

Meetings dates for 2009 will be finalized by the end of November 2008.

All financial members are welcome to attend committee meetings.  Please be aware that meeting dated may change unexpectedly due to operational requirements.  Should you wish to attend a meeting, please contact the Secretary for confirmation of date and venue and for catering requirements.

Unless otherwise stated, all meetings are held at City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street, West Perth and commence at 1200 hours.
