The Asia-Pacific Solar Research Conference (APSRC) returned to the University of Queensland from 2–4 December. As a funding partner of the conference and a long-standing supporter of emerging talent, the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics (ACAP) is proud to celebrate the 2025 award recipients.

Two ACAP researchers, Dr Zhongshu Yang (ANU) and Dr Brendan Wright (UNSW) , were recognised with prestigious Best Oral Presentation (non-student) awards at the 36th International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference (PVSEC-36), held in Thailand in November, one of the world’s leading forums for photovoltaic research. And, Lizhi Sun (UNSW) received the Best Student Oral Presentation Award for work on cost-effective self-doping in back-contact silicon solar cells.
