ACAP and UNSW's Martin Green has been recognised with the namesake prize of the 8th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC)-- an award given only every four years. Martin's pioneering work on the PERC cell was celebrated at the global get-together of the world's most eminent solar researchers, held in Milan.
Also at WCPEC, ACAP's Shukla Poddar presented on the potential impact of increased temperatures under climate change, and how they could affect the installation of solar PV, in an opportunity to bring this critical issue to the attention of a global audience.
